At Dawson Counseling services, we strive to provide quality mental health care in a safe and accepting environment. Services are offered in our office in Nitro, WV, or from the comfort of your own home via Telehealth. It is our mission to make therapy as unintimidating and comfortable as possible for you.

Our therapist, Alexandria (Ali) Dawson, specializes in working with young adult/adult women. She has over 5 years of experience across a variety of clinical settings including in-patient, private practice, and addiction services. She has extensive experience treating a wide variety of diagnoses. Additionally, she is highly experienced with LGBTQ+ clients.

Ali Dawson is the therapist for Dawson Counseling services. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker and specializes in working with young adult/adult women. Her credentials include: BA in Psychology from the University of Charleston, Master's of Social Work from Marshall University, and she is licensed with her LICSW through the West Virginia Board of Social Work. License Number: DP00945399
